This discussion topic will span two weeks, concluding in Module Seven. For this two-week discussion.

Effective leaders collaborate with others, as multiple inputs result in better outcomes. In this discussion, you will share the competencies you have identified and provide some brief rationale for the selection. You will also receive feedback and possibly questions from your peers, which you can evaluate and use to modify the leadership competencies you have chosen, if desired.

Consider the following questions during the discussion: – see attachment for reference

• Do the leadership competencies identified for improvement align with a specific question in the engagement survey?
• How will improvement in the leadership competencies you have identified positively impact the results in the next employee engagement survey?

You will post your initial response by Sunday evening. Note you are not responding to other learners’ posts this week. That will occur next week, in Module Seven.

Next week, in Module Seven, you will respond to your classmates’ posts, comparing others’ recommendations to your own.

For each discussion, you must create one initial post and follow up with at least two response posts.

For your initial post, do the following:

• Write a post of 1 to 2 paragraphs.
• In the first week one of this multiweek discussion, complete your initial post by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. of your local time zone.
• Consider content from other parts of the course where appropriate. Use proper citation methods for your discipline when referencing scholarly or popular sources.
