The final milestone requires you to (1) complete the written report, For milestone 3, please add the following components to the document you submitted for milestone 2: SEE ATTACHMENT FOR MILESTONE 1 AND 2
- The system development strategy that you will recommend to develop the new system. Chapter 7 in the text discusses development strategies; the considerations discussed in this chapter are the ones you should be focusing on for this recommendation.
- Create an estimated budget for the proposed system. Include the cost of labor as well as any hardware and software that the new system will need. Research current market rates for analysis, design and development, installation and upgrade of any hardware and software, training, as well as any other services you are providing. Also research current hardware and software costs.
- Documentation for the proposed system. Documentation is covered in Section 11.8 in the text; be sure to include all documentation that makes sense for the system you are developing.
- Security concerns and issues regarding the new system and how you will address them.
- A plan for testing the system and providing ongoing maintenance and support once it is implemented. Maintenance, support, and security are all discussed at length in Chapter 12 in your text.
Deliverables
- A document containing the information noted above. This document should contain all information from milestones 1, 2, and 3. One team member should submit this document for the team.
- A presentation to the client describing the proposed project.
