Your healthcare facility is examining methods of improving the organization’s financial health. You are on a committee evaluating different forms of waste in your organization. As a committee member, you have been assigned to consider a specific topic that contributes to waste in healthcare. Your assigned topic is based on the first letter of your last name in the chart below. You will respond to a peer with a different assigned topic.

Step 2: Answer the discussion prompts below with explanation and detail.

• Paragraph one: Elaborate on your assigned topic, detailing its role in contributing to waste in healthcare settings. What are the financial implications of this topic on healthcare organizations? Paragraph two: Explore 1-2 potential evidence-based strategies to address your assigned topic. How do these strategies integrate interprofessional communication and collaboration? Paragraph three: Reflect on the influence of organizational culture on your topic and the strategies you’ve proposed to address it.
