Description
There are a variety of sensory receptors all over our bodies. Choose any three specific kinds of receptors from Chapters 5-6 and explain in detail:
a) what physical stimuli activates these receptors and
b) what happens in the cell when these receptors are activated?
Then, compare and contrast how these receptors work. Give one suggestion as to how you think these receptors could be de-activated based on your understanding of how they are activated.
