Description
My learning style is predominantly auditory (45%), followed by visual (30%) and tactile (25%). My teaching approach is transitional and student-influenced, focusing on using student input to gauge their understanding of previous topics and actively engaging them in discussions. This method ensures that students not only see but also utilize models, drawings, and maps to answer questions. Additionally, students interact with each other for at least a portion of the class time rather than solely listening to the instructor and answering questions (SERC Carleton College, 2015). This approach not only caters to different learning styles but also encourages a more interactive and engaging classroom environment.
