After long search for a Internship , I applied with Dreamhost and I got emailed after a week . Dreamhost has welcomed me with open arms , the management team and supervisor were great to me . It was great experience . The learning objective include responding to tickets to clients , adding and dealing memberships , customer service , providing webhosting experience and sending out membership codes to new clients for discount . I wouldn’t modify it much its great system they have at Dreamhost , the only thing I would modify is how to respond to clients by breaking ticketing options like a place for new memmebrship tickets , technical error or issue proper domain for news can get help so they wont send each issues to us. I was directly working with my supervisor , he walk me through all the steps and inform if I am having issues to call him, and he was very helpful through out journey . Dreamhost is web hosting service for builders of all sizes , shapes and specialities . The owner of Dreamhost owner is David , started this business in 2007. The business started with small clients and now theres clients all over the world . Its merely based in Germany but so many clients are in the US. I work as remote as Techincal support where i log in to ticketing system. Some of the task I do include Ticketing system web hosting , signing new package deals and upgrading and deactivating accounts , also sending out codes for package discounts. My job contributes to the operation by responding to ticket which major part of the job. I had great relatshiop with the supervisor , he was very helpful in the beginning and has been guiding through out the process . He told me to contact if I had any questions or needed assistance . My internship benefit me by helping build strong relationship clients by providing servicet to them . THE strengths I develop was good communication skills meaning how interact with clients and vendors . Being more passionatge about providing great service . I don’t really see any weakness in my internship process but I would say multi tasking when get comes tasks were different at times My internship give better understanding on learning new tasks and by having high confidence on myself . I made some mistakes but everytime I learn from them I got more confident on completing task . The great thing was that I was entrolled in any classes except my interhsip course which gave me more time to complete interhsip process. After completing my interhsip I am thinking starting some certification course to help further my experience . My best advice I have received was to never give and always never be shy to ask questions . Asking questions is very helpful to learning and perfecting after every tasks . The most important thing I take away from interhsip experience is by providing service it makes people happy and it makes my easier , that’s why try to my best assist clients with any request they need . The best advice I would give my friend whos about start interhsip would be to take a lot of notes and don’t be afraid to as for help you don’t understand specific tasks .
