Provides leadership in providing evidence, analytics, internal and external reporting for Academic Affairs. Serves as the key contact for academic programs and curriculum, student success, and faculty affairs data analytics. Provides valid and reliable data visualizations used to support continuous improvement in student success, instructional effectiveness, program evaluation and development, and faculty development. Teaches and learns data infrastructure guidance, data pulls, data analysis, visualization, and reporting for the purpose of continuous improvement of teaching and learning and the optimization of student and faculty success. In addition, provides valid and reliable research for Academic Affairs strategic planning, program review and management, student progression, funding allocations, and academic innovations.
1.Pulls data sets, clean data, process data, visualize data, and guide stakeholders in the interpretation of data in a manner that inform academic decisions
2.Provides data sets for Academic Program Authorization/Development, Academic ProgramReview, Academic Forecasts, student success initiatives, revenue, and funding decisions, etc.
3.Designs and develops data systems that illuminate the relationship between academic decisions
4.Coordinates and responds to college data requests (i.e., teaching and learning data, program data, student success data)
5.Proposes and designs dashboards that would inform processes of improvement for studentsuccess, within academic programs, instructional practices
6.Provides expertise and vision on enterprise-level student success and teaching and learningdata infrastructure
7.Creates and maintains a repository of structured queries to gather data from institutional datasources
8.Designs, implements and collaborates with others on applied research projects for AcademicAffairs in the areas of strategic planning, program review and management, instructionaleffectiveness, and academic innovation
9.Develops and maintains teaching and learning data interoperability standards and terminology
10.Performs analysis using statistical software (such as R, SAS, SPSS) to understand therelationship between variables within learner data
