Officers Scott and Dovidio accelerate their move up the stairs, toward the porch. The Black man grabs the doorknob with his left hand and attempts to push the door in (the door is apparently stuck). He turns his body sideways and begins digging in his pocket with his right hand. Officer Scott yells, “Show me your hands–NOW!” Officer Dovidio yells, “Get your hands out of your pockets … don’t make me f—–ing kill you.” The man is agitated and shaking. He continues to hold the doorknob with his left hand and starts removing a black object from his pocket with his right hand.
